VMAX ROV Simulator Software is a flexible and powerful simulation tool used for training and sub sea engineering studies.
 
The core software is a multi-process 6-degree of freedom rigid-body simulator optimized for the subsea environment.  It accurately simulates behaviors of ROVs and other objects utilized in undersea operations.   
 
The software can used for training and testing of ROV pilots, utilizing several training scenarios that come standard with the VMAX Simulator Software.   These scenarios include operations such as steel-flying-leads installation, jumper installation, object recovery, torque-tool operations, and many others.  
 
The simulations can also be used for engineering studies (especially when paired with the VMAX Scenario Editor) to verify equipment or operations.   
 
All simulations can be recorded and played back via the VMAX Player.   The VMAX Player is a free tool that plays back the entire 3-dimensional scene which allows post-simulation analysis to include views that may have not been used by the ROV Pilot or even novel views not normally available, which will allow complete analysis of any problems/impacts that may apply in the real world.
